2011 News! I am now a USDF Bronze Medalist! Flying Colorz (Fling) and I competed at Third Level the HDS Winter Shows in January  - our second outing at a recognized show at Third - and earned the necessary scores in just three rides. It was the long way - but very gratifying to earn your Bronze on a horse you bred, midwifed and trained yourself! I am the 2011 HDS Bushager Grant recipient - a $2,000 grant for dressage training! 2010 Highlights Faxx placed in the top 20 in the nation in the United States Dressage Federation Amateur Training Level standings with a 69% median! He also was the Houston Dressage Society Training Level Amateur Champion, Recognized Show division, with an average over 70%. Faeryn was Reserve Champion, HDS First Level Amateur Schooling Show division with an average over 70%. Faxx went to the Region 9 Arabian/Half Arabian Sport Horse Championships and came home with 3 Championships, 1 Reserve Championship and 3 Top Fives. He was in the money in all of his classes! Faxx scored a 72% and a 69% at the Houston Dressage Society Summer Show II in June, won both his classes and won the High Score Amateur AND Reserve High Score Amateur award! Faeryn scored a 71% and was Training Level Champion at the Texas Dressage Classic I in April, and was Training Level champion both days at Dressage in the Pines in May! In April, Faeryn showed first level for the second time at a schooling show and was First level champion and high score, with a 67 and a 68!
